New Delhi: In the case of Aircel-Maxis Case, former Finance Minister P Chidambaram is not taking the name of the problem. Enforcement Directorate (ED) has opposed the anticipatory bail petition filed by former Union minister and Congress leader P Chidambaram in a Delhi court and demanded interrogation in the custody of the ED. In his reply on the anticipatory bail petition filed by Chidambaram, the Enforcement Directorate said that his attitude has been defiant and he was not cooperating in the investigation. The petition of Chidambaram will be heard on Thursday in the court of Special Judge OP Saini.
In the Aircel-Maxis case filed by the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate, the court gave interim protection to the arrest of Chidambaram and his son Karti on October 8 from the arrest. In order to avoid arrest in the Directorate’s case, Chidambaram had filed a petition in the court on May 30 this year seeking protection, in which he has been receiving relief from time to time.
Explain that recently, the Enforcement Directorate filed a supplementary charge sheet against P Chidambaram. P Chidambaram was made the accused number one in this charge sheet. Apart from this, there are also names of other 8 people in this charge sheet. In the Aircel Maxis case, Delhi’s Patiala House court has fixed November 26 for consideration of the charge sheet. Let us know that in this case, the CBI has also filed separate supplementary chargesheets.
It is being said that this charge sheet of ED is also named after P. Chidambaram’s son Karti Chidambaram’s CA Bhaskar Raman. Let us know that both the ED and the CBI agencies are investigating this matter.
