New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced big relief for the 10th Board students. Yes, CBSE has reduced the tension of students’ maths to a great extent in their new decision. According to the new rules of CBSE, the upcoming board of the 10th Board i.e. means that 2019-20 will be able to select the level of student maths. According to the official notice issued by CBSE, now there will be two levels of mathematics i.e. level in the 10th board exam. The first level will be the same as the current level, while the second level will be easy.Although this rule will apply only in the 10th board examination, the internal examination of the school will be the same as before.

According to the CBSE’s notification, the first level will be called the Mathematics Standard, while the second is that the easy level has been given the name of Mathematics Basic. Students must choose one level for the board exam. Students will get the right to choose the level of Maths while filling the board form. At the same time, there has been no change in the syllabus and internal assessment for both levels. Everything will be the same as before, so that students get a chance to read all the topics throughout the year. This will enable students to decide which level to choose for them to test.

CBSE has also said that standard level will be for those students who have to take Maths subject in the next class, whereas students who do not want to take Maths after 10th standard can choose basic level. If the student fails at any level then they can sit in the compartment examination according to the rules of the CBSE.

CBSE has also stated in its notification that if the Board fails in the examination, the students can change their level for the compartment examination. If a student fails at the standard level then he can take the compartment examination of any level of standard or basic. Not only this, even after passing the board, even after having the student, there will be an opportunity to improve their level. That is, if a student passes in Basic Math in the Board, then he can sit in compartment examination of Standard Maths.
