Bhopal: Computer Baba, who was campaigning for mobilizing the saints against the ruling BJP in the midst of electoral enslavement in Madhya Pradesh, was expelled on Thursday from Digambar Ani Akhara. This strict step against them has been raised under the charge that he is involved in party politics and is behaving against the dignity of the saints.
Mahant Narendra Giri, president of the Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad, the head office of the 13 major akhada of Saints, said, “Computer Baba has been expelled from Digamberi Akhara on our recommendation. He has jumped into the political arena in the very opposite of the dignity of the saints and for the personal benefit of him, BJP is once again talking to the Congress.
He informed that in the high-level meeting held in Ujjain of Digambar Ani Akhara Panchayat, a formal decision has been taken by computer Baba to remove the saints of Vaishnava sect (Hindu voters who worship Lord Vishnu as their devoted god) from this major religious institution. .
Narendra Giri told the religious rules of the akhaas that after the expulsion, the computer Baba will not be able to participate in the programs of Digambar Ani Akhara and the collective banquets of his sages. He will not be able to participate in the royal baths and other religious ceremonies of this arena in Kumbh Mela starting on January 15 in Prayagraj (Allahabad).
On the other hand, after his expulsion from Digambar Ani Akhara, Computer Baba said in a video statement, “The BJP government, led by Shivraj Singh Chauhan, has adopted whatever tactics he has against me. But I will not allow the holy zigzag of Narmada to be stained and I will not be able to cope with the plight of cow mother. I will remain firm for the protection of Hinduism. ‘
He alleged that the Sant’s community is being neglected in Madhya Pradesh and their monasteries are being demolished.
The real name of computer Baba is Namdev Das Tyagi. He is the head of the Shitdarshan Sadhu Mandal, an institution of saints in Madhya Pradesh. The BJP government, led by Shivraj in the state, gave status of minister of state to five religious leaders, including computer baba in April. But computer Baba had resigned from this position a few days ago accusing him that the Shivraj Sarkar has made ‘Vaadakhilafi’ from the community of the community especially in keeping Narmada clean and ban on illegal sand mining from this river.
These days, computer baba has opened a front by accusing the BJP government of being “anti-Dharma” under Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Months before the assembly elections, the campaign to mobilize the saints against ruling BJP started in the name of ‘Sant Samagam’ from Indore starting October 23. Under this campaign, they are appealing in different cities of the state and appealing that the Shivraj Singh government should be uprooted in the coming elections.
It is worth mentioning that in Madhya Pradesh assembly elections are going to be held on November 28, where BJP is reigning for the last 15 years.
