new Delhi: In Assam, people’s anger against BJP is increasing. The matter is related to the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016. Whilst one section is strongly opposed, a group of protesters ransacked the BJP office here. The police gave this information on Friday. Opposition activists of Okayya Assam Assam ransacked the office in Palashbari area on Thursday night. Police said that protesters burnt effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal and also slammed the National Highway, slamming the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government. Later, the detainees were detained.
