New Delhi: Keeping in mind the growth of the young population in the population in the next decade, India needs to create 10 million new jobs . This claim has been made in a report. It has been said in the report that with the increase in employment, the prospects of economic growth can be accelerated in the country and it can be made more inclusive. PwC’s report ‘Citizens: Inclusive growth through employment creation on large scale’ has been mentioned in the next decade, the practical method of increasing employment in the country has been mentioned. It states that in the manner in which the local resources of the country can be linked to the market in small districts, employment opportunities can be created on a large scale.
It has been said in the report that in the next decade, we have to create five times the employment opportunities of Australia’s population. This is the most important agenda in front of the country. If this thinking is dealt with thoughtfully and energetically, then our growth will increase which will make it more inclusive. Not only this report says that India needs to increase its labor participation rate (LFPR). For this, working populations, especially women, will have to provide more opportunities.
Significantly, just a few days ago, PM Modi talked about new opportunities being created in the country. During that time he had said that under this (currency) scheme, around 14 crore loans have been given across the country. Of this 40 lakh loans have been given to the youth of Gujarat only. In the last four years, seven lakh crore rupees loan has been given to people under this scheme. The Prime Minister said that those who took the loan under the currency, more than three and a half million of them were going to do business for the first time, because they had chosen for the first time self-employment. Today, unprecedented opportunities of employment and business are available in the country.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had answered the questions being raised on the issue of employment on behalf of the opposition. He said that when India is developing fastest among the world’s big economies, then how can it be said that nothing is happening on the employment front? In a news agency ANI interview, PM Modi had said that when the economy is moving very fast, then why will not the jobs increase?
PM Modi reiterated his speech during the non-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha, saying, “The investment is on the rise, the construction of the road construction, the construction of the railway line, the construction of the solar park and the expansion of the transmission line is increasing rapidly, then How can it be said that new jobs will not be found.
