Muzaffarpur shelter home case: Court sent former minister Manju Verma to police custody for 1 day
In the case of Muzaffarpur Shelter Home Rape Case, former Bihar Social Welfare Minister Manju Verma (Manju Verma) has been sent to the court for one day.
Begusarai: In the case of the Muzaffarpur Shelter Home Rape Case , Bihar’s former Social Welfare Minister Manju Verma (Manju Verma) has been sent to the court for one day. Apart from Manjhal subdivision, Chief Judicial Magistrate Prabhat Trivedi passed the order on the application of District Police. The police had demanded to send the former minister to police custody for two days.
In the case of investigating the Shelter Home case, Manju Verma was escaping arrest in a case under the Arms Act. He surrendered in a local court on Tuesday. During the raid on the campus in the Shelter Home Case, a team of CBI recovered huge amount of ammunition in the former minister’s residence. After this, Manju and her husband Chandrashekhar Verma were included in an FIR lodged in Chariya Bariyarpur police station in August.
