Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JUD) associated with the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (JDU) started its political party, the Milli Muslim League (AML) but it has not yet been registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan. Along with the general elections, this group has decided to contest the elections in the name of Allahu-Akbar Tehrik (AAT), a passive political party which is registered in the Election Commission.

JUD activists and supporters have taken nomination papers from the Election Commission and they are raising their candidates from the AAT platform. MML spokesman Ahmed Nadeem said, “MML president Saifullah Khalid and AAT chief Ahmed Bari have agreed to jointly nominate candidates on the AAT platform in the forthcoming elections. According to the agreement for sharing of seats, MML will raise more than 200 educated candidates. They will contest the election on AAT’s election symbol. ‘

Asked whether Saeed plans to contest the parliamentary elections, the spokesman said, “No, Hafiz has no such plan yet. MML is participating in elections for the first time and hopes that we will go to Parliament. ” They said, ‘We hope that people will choose our candidates.’ In June 2014, the JUD had declared the United States as a foreign terrorist organization. Due to the involvement of terrorist activities on the JUD chief, there is a prize of 10 million dollars.
