Pithoragarh-Dehradun Air Service license issued, will start air service from Jan 15

Center has issued licenses to operate air services between Pithoragarh and Dehradun. From January 15, the way to start the air service has become clear. At the same time, air services will start soon from Dehradun to Hindand in Ghaziabad.

In the second phase, air service will be started between Dehradun and Pithoragarh under the flyover scheme of the center. On January 4, the officers of the DGCA trialed the nine-seater aircraft from Dehradun to Pithoragarh Naini Saini Aubri. After successful trial of Air Services, the Center has issued license on DGCA report.

State Civil Aviation Department has prepared to start air services for Pithoragarh from January 15. After this, air service will also be started for Hindand of Ghaziabad. In the first phase of the flying plan, the direct air services started from Dehradun to Pantnagar on 4 January.

At present, this air service operates only four days a week. In the third phase of the plan, the Center has agreed to the Chandigarh-Pantnagar-Lucknow Air Services. Its proposal is being prepared by the department. On the other hand, Secretary Civil Aviation Dilip Javalkar informed that the Center has given license to Dehradun-Pithoragarh Air Services. Since January 15, preparations are on to begin air services for Pithoragarh.
