SP-BSP returning in Mulayam-Kashiram era will defeat BJP
Mulayam Kanshiram, who got flown in the air, got jaashree ram. This slogan was felt in the 90’s. Then the SP and BSP coalition formed a complete majority government in Uttar Pradesh. Returning to the same period, Akhilesh and Mayawati have come together for the first time in the Lok Sabha elections and this time they have given a tough challenge to Bhajpa President Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Keeping the Congress under the alliance, Mayawati and Akhilesh have expressed their commitment to defeat the BJP by contesting the 38 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh for 38-38. The BSP chief has described Congress and BSP as equally corrupt parties. The special thing is that the announcement was made shortly before giving a speech to the Prime Minister Modi’s BJP National Conference.
The challenge of
Buoyabua (Mayawati-Akhilesh) is being considered as a tough challenge. There is a lot of trouble in the BJP’s camp about this possibility of coalition. In the BJP’s Uttar Pradesh government, Transport Minister Independent Dev Singh believes that the BSP-SP combine will be a challenge. Independent Dev Singh says that if the Congress was involved in this coalition, the fight would have been very easy.
The minister of Uttar Pradesh has argued that there is no division in Muslim votes. This will greatly benefit the BJP. There is no division in upper caste votes. Like the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2017, the message goes smoothly and the BJP easily achieves its goal. A senior Congress leader also estimates that with the SP-BSP and separation of the Congress, the BJP will be greatly increased compared to the difficulty.
Who is heavy on the vote
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BSP got 19.60 percent votes in Uttar Pradesh, but did not get a single seat. SP got 22.20 percent votes but won five seats. This addition of SP-BSP reaches 41.80 percent of the votes. While the BJP, together with its own parties, collected 42.30 percent of the votes. BSP claims on the basis of polling in the state assembly elections that it has close to 21 percent votes.
SP leader now tells it to 26 percent. Both claim that the BJP has got the highest number of votes in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Their vote percentage is more than the BJP. In this way, the SP-BSP combine could win more than 60 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. After the announcement of the alliance of BJP leaders, the party is convinced that the fight in Uttar Pradesh is not easy.
What is mechanics
The SP and the BSP have decided to not contest the 38-38 seats for themselves, two seat colleagues and two seats (Amethi, Rae Bareli). Who will be in the allies, it is not clear by BSP chief Mayawati. But it is believed that by the end of January a coalition partner and may be involved. When asked about the National Lok Dal, it has been said from both parties to see it later. However, two days back, the National Lok Dal’s Jayant Chaudhary, Akhilesh Yadav, is back with a return. It has not been clear now that what has happened to Akhilesh from Jayant? There is no contact with Chaudhary Ajit Singh about this. Currently, Akhilesh Yadav has told the purpose of this alliance to stop the BJP from coming to power. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has also welcomed the SP-BSP coalition. While Union Minister Arun Jaitley termed it as a coalition of two natural enemies.
What will be the difficulty of the BJP?
The question is screwed. The public mood is not clear on the alliance and Lok Sabha elections right now. But it is believed that the BJP will find it difficult to polarize votes. A leader in the state Congress presidential contenders says that if the SP-BSP-RLD-Congress comes together, then BJP will easily succeed in polarization of votes. Because the state’s minority voters combine only on one side. It goes wrong message
Former MLC, close to the Samajwadi Party’s Akhilesh Yadav, also agrees with this. Sources believe that this message was received when the Congress and SP came together in the 2017 assembly elections. BJP leaders also believe in Dabi Juban that the Congress holds up to 10 percent of the vote in the state. On the different elections of the Congress, there may be some dent in the forward caste votes. Apart from this minority votes will also be divided. At the same time, the BJP has not been the BJP of 2017 and 2014.
