Explain that Chidambaram’s son is investigating the ED and the CBI INX Media Case against Karti Chidambaram, in which there are allegations of receiving money worth 305 crores from abroad. The case is about when his father P. Chidambaram was the finance minister in the UPA government. Earlier, the ED had told the court that Karti Chidambaram, the son of senior Congress leader P Chidambaram, was clearly misusing the independence of foreign travel which he had received from the court. So that they can escape from the investigation. On the other hand, Delhi’s Patiala Court has given an exemption from the arrest of father-son till November 26 in the Aircel-Maxis deal. Recently, the ED had described former Finance Minister P Chidambaram as the accused number one in the case of money laundering in the charge sheet which was presented in the court. In this case related to allowing foreign investment in the Aircel-Maxis deal, ED has been named by nine of the nine accused.
