Let us tell you that after the snowfall in Jojila Pass, the Srinagar-Leh highway was closed on Thursday. This pass connects the Ladakh region with the Kashmir Valley. An official of traffic management said that the activities of vehicles on the Precaution Highway have been closed.
Due to heavy snowfall at Jojila Pass, the Srinagar-Leh highway was closed for nearly six months from November to April last year. Located at an elevation of 11,575 feet above the sea level, Jogila Pass is forecasting mid-winter snowfall in the hilly areas of Jammu and Kashmir for the next three days from Thursday.
